The First Official Signing Is Tonight

So, I’m in New York this week and things are very exciting and incredibly fun –I’m attending all these great meetings with different publishers’ publicists in order to discuss the Decatur Book Festival– but I’m ESPECIALLY excited to have my first, for-real author appearance tonight at WORD bookstore in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at 7:30 PM. I’ll be presenting with my editor, Anica Rissi, and we’re appearing in part to launch WORD’s new discussion series, YA Not? There are so many things that are great about this: I get to hang with my new very good friend Stephanie Anderson; we’ll have cupcakes; I’ll get to hang in my old neighborhood and –oh yeah– have my first signing.
