What My Desk Looks Like Right Now

The draft of my next book, IN DEEP has been turned in, but that doesn’t mean I get to stop working! I leave for a two-week stint teaching YA writing to a bunch of young women at Smith College on June 30th, and I’m hot and heavy into the planning! We’ll be looking at the difference between books for young adults, and books for adults that just happen to have teenage protagonists, plus doing a TON of writing of our own. I am super-looking forward to this gig, because teaching is always one of my favorites!
